My approach combines proven business strategy with firsthand experience building and leading healthcare organizations.
Emily Babb has spent twenty-five years working in healthcare, including over seventeen years in executive leadership and organizational development. Her passion was shaped through early work in hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and independent practices, where she saw firsthand how the structure of a practice affects both the people delivering care and the patients receiving it. That perspective shaped the way she approaches healthcare leadership and led her to focus on building organizations that support providers more effectively while ultimately creating a better healthcare experience for everyone involved. Drawn to solving the structural challenges that affect both patients and providers, Ms. Babb founded Midtown Medical Associates, where, as CEO, she built and grew a clinic around a different vision for medical practice. Over the next 15 years, she developed the financial, operational, staffing, and leadership systems needed to support providers and strengthen the organization as it grew.
She later served as CEO of Haven Center, an independent specialty clinic, joining before launch. There, she helped shape the clinic’s financial model, operations, and growth strategy, then led the organization through opening and expansion as it became one of the most sought-after practices in its specialty nationwide.
Through LOFT Advisory, Ms. Babb helps providers navigate the path from initial vision and feasibility through formation, funding, operations, launch, and long-term growth. Whether you are exploring the possibility of independence, preparing to open, or currently leading an established practice, she brings practical experience, strategic perspective, and a genuine commitment to being in your corner for the long term.
Independent medicine is not simply an alternative to the managed-care model. It is an important part of the future of healthcare, and I am committed to helping providers build it.
